About The Webinar

If you’ve attended any learning conference in the last several years, you’ve inevitably heard the buzz around the Learning Management System (LMS), Learning Record Stores (LRSs), and the Experience API (xAPI). With so much focus on the potential for disruption that these technologies hold, organizations are looking for ways to get started using data interoperability in their own learning ecosystems to create a seamlessly connected learning program.

For many organizations, the LMS continues to sit at the center of the learning ecosystem, but it is no longer the only place where learning happens. By incorporating an xAPI-enabled LRS into your learning environment, you can collect both formal and informal learning data across the many tools and technologies used in today’s modern workplace and translate it into a single, standardized data format. This data is then stored and organized in the LRS to provide a 360-degree view of the experience of your learners.

Join
HT2 Labs and eThink Education to learn how the LMS & LRS work together, and the advantages of incorporating both systems into your eLearning ecosystem including:

  • The ability to connect, utilize, and apply data from multiple types of formal and informal learning experiences
  • Leverage data from across platforms, improve training programs and performance outcomes, and positively impact the experience of team members and business processes
  • Create an eLearning ecosystem that is extensible, flexible, and future-proofed

The LMS, LRS & xAPI: The Power of Data Interoperability

Ben Betts
CEO
HT2 Labs

Ben's work with his company, HT2 Labs, has helped to define the 'next generation' of workplace digital learning platforms. Under Ben's direction, HT2 Labs were amongst the first to put gamification into a Learning Experience Platform. They were the first to really grasp how social learning could be applied in the workplace. And HT2 Labs were the first to release an enterprise-ready Learning Record Store. Today Ben's focus is exclusively on helping companies learn from their employees collective experiences, using all of the knowledge he has gained from 15 years in the business.
